    Sentiment Analysis Web App

    Project Overview:

    Developed a web application for sentiment analysis using React. Leveraged the Google Cloud Natural Language API for precise AI-powered sentiment analysis of user-submitted text, ensuring its sentiment is understood correctly for effective communication. Crafted a responsive and engaging user interface, successfully deployed to a public server, and garnered positive user feedback. Through this project, I aimed to enhance digital communication and promote self-awareness in a digital age.

     

     

    Problem:

    With the rapid pace of digital communication, users often find it challenging to gauge the sentiment of their messages, potentially leading to misunderstandings. The vision was to craft a solution, "VibeCheck," to provide insight into the emotional tone of written messages, thus enabling clearer communication and improved self-awareness.

     

    User Stories:

    1. As a user, I want to input my written message and receive its sentiment analysis so that I can comprehend its potential impact and prevent misinterpretations.

    2. As a user, I want the application to deliver an accurate assessment of my text's emotional tone.

    3. As a user, I want the sentiment analysis results presented clearly and understandably.

    4. As a user, I'd like a visual representation (e.g., a gauge or meter) of the sentiment score for swift interpretation.

    5. As a user, I want the app to be accessible and functional on both desktop and mobile devices.

     

     

    Acceptance Criteria:

    1. Users can effortlessly input text messages into the application for sentiment analysis.

    2. Utilizes the Google Cloud Natural Language API for sentiment evaluation.

    3. Provides a clear sentiment score, categorizing the input as positive, neutral, or negative.

    4. Displays sentiment results with relevant infographics or labels.

    5. Features a user-centric interface with intuitive navigation.

    6. Offers a responsive design catering to various devices. 

     

     

    Outcome:

    VibeCheck was built using React, integrating the Google Cloud Natural Language API for precise sentiment evaluation. The responsive and visually pleasing user interface ensured a smooth experience across devices. Following its deployment on a public server, the app received positive feedback, highlighting its effectiveness in offering valuable emotional insights into written messages.

     

     

    This venture underscores my capability to design user-focused web applications that harness AI-powered sentiment analysis to improve communication and heighten self-awareness.
